Terms of Service

1. The service
SoloPracticeOS is business-operations software that helps therapists plan, set up, and grow the business side of a private practice. It provides educational content, decision-support recommendations, calculators, and organizational tools. It is not an electronic health record, not clinical software, and not legal, tax, accounting, or clinical advice. Recommendations are informational — verify pricing, regulations, and professional requirements (including anything state-specific) with the appropriate professional before acting.
2. Your account
You are responsible for your credentials and for the accuracy of information you enter. Do not enter protected health information, client names, or clinical records anywhere in the product; it is designed and intended for business metadata only.
3. Billing
Paid plans are billed via Stripe: monthly ($35/month), annual ($149/year), or lifetime ($597 one-time). Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds: full refund within 14 days of purchase on request.
4. Acceptable use
One account per person. No scraping, reselling, or sharing of the recommendation content at scale; no attempts to breach security or access other users' data.
5. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for decisions you make based on recommendations, including tool purchases, pricing decisions, or business outcomes.
6. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in-product. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Contact: support via your account page.
